[ Things have been brewing on both sides of the fence. In the city of Aimintas, the Palai have been educated on a very many things -- weaponry, strategy. They're at a fledgling starting point, even with the help of the coven, but they're going places.

Simultaneously, the Uvi have been rallying their troops, as it were. Just because the Uvi are very instinctive doesn't mean they don't have some strategic mentalities about them. Their divide and conquer strategy isn't one that works all at once -- send 50 out one week, keep a majority of your soldiers, then send them as an aftershock. Here comes that aftershock.

The good news is that there were warnings beforehand, from precognitive premonitions to a monitoring system put in place. There are barriers, there are weapons, there are possibilities here.

On the other side of that spoon, the Uvi have had the same amount of time to try and look for ways to make their destruction as grave as possible. They have more weaponry and are trying to utilize their magic as much as possible with the threat of advanced magic users -- a new tactic they're using is separating ocean water from the larger floating mass. These smaller masses contain predatory and dangerous fish, like sharks, stingrays and emperor jellyfish, with the hopes of sucking coven members and Palai alike into the water and having them devoured or injured.

Both sides have weaknesses, both sides have magic. This is going to be ugly. ]
