When: During the Uvi attack

A. The question is
[It was almost humorous. The Uvi were doing now what Xion had been planning for all along: bringing their powers with them down to Aimintas. All of her preparation feels less foolish now, and she's tearing around town like a girl on a mission.
Well, she kind of is. Self-appointed mission or no.
If your character is having any trouble with this new tactic, Xion might very well be there to help. If they find a ball of carnivore-filled ocean barreling down upon them, it may suddenly shoot up at the last second, arcing right over your character's head. If they're trapped in swirling waters, the currents might slacken, enough for them to break themselves free. If they're in danger of drowning, the water might suddenly be shoved away from their face with explosive force, giving them room to breathe.
In ways both big and small, she's doing all she can to help.]
B. Which do you take to heart
[She's not sure what causes it: if they remembered her as one of the ones who froze their home, if she's been doing a little too well at impeding their water attacks on the Palai and the rest of the coven, or even if they just singled her out as a water user and therefore a nuisance they wanted out of the way.
What she does know is that all of a sudden, she's encircled by a good... five at least, of the Uvi, and that a huge mass of the ocean waters she's been trying to disrupt are surrounding her now.
She'd gotten this far with surprise and misdirection. Her powers were barely strong enough to meet one Uvi head-to-head. Five? Not a chance, though she's trying. Mustering all of her powers that she can, she's managed to form a small pocket of air around her head and upper body to give herself room to breathe, at least. She's ultimately defenseless against the fish inside though, the currents the Uvi are trying to disorient her with, and the inexorable pressure they're putting on her little sanctuary, trying to crush it so they can continue their attempts to drown her.
Help would be appreciated.]

b!!
[ he recognizes her and this is definitely bad news. the uvi are even more ruthless than before and with the addition of all this water chaos, there's even more danger than usual. it's a hazardous situation, indeed, and akira certainly is quick on his feet but this is bad, even for him.
so he's going to fling his knives at the uvi to try and steal their attention back to him, at least enough for xion for regain her footing so to speak. he'll summon a persona in a minute if he needs to, but he's fairly certain he can give way to a great chase if necessary. ]

They're still too powerful for her to try seizing control of the orb of water itself but, maybe if... Surprise and misdirection have been working best so far.
For a brief moment she pushes out with her powers, trying to make the bubble a bit bigger. Then, taking a deep breath, she lets go of the bubble entirely, instead slamming as much force as she can straight down, as if to shove a cylinder of water no more than two feet in diameter into the ground. The cylinder beneath her, to be specific.
It works, to an extent. The current is still moving, so the "cylinder" doesn't stay intact, but by the time it's overwhelmed, Xion's already most of the way through. She could've done without that last brush against a jellyfish, though.
As she tumbles to the ground though, she's already moving, rolling to try to get her feet under her.]
Th-thanks.

Here!
[ he shouts it just after he murmurs diaharan under his breath. even if xion isn't bleeding or injured, a quick heal will help regardless. he seems to be quite capable otherwise. ]
a
That was amazing! Thank you ... [once she's reoriented, she lifts her bow again, a light smile on her face.]
Ready? I'll cover you.

[She hadn't exactly planned to make this a long, drawn-out fight. She's been running around the whole city guerrilla-style, doing small disruptive things like this to help give the Palai and the coven an edge, or help them turn the tide.
That being said.] I was going to keep moving.
[You in?]
b
he almost dives at the knot of Uvi surrounding Xion the same way-- almost. but at the last second, he smells or senses something (human)? and pulls out of theh dive, his roar caught in his throat with a startled whine instead.]
--hey!
[he recognizes her-- and beyond that, it looks like she's in trouble. he circles back and lands on an adjacent building instead with a crash, reaching down towards the mass of water.]
no subject
No point yelling, though she calls out in a decidedly more supernatural fashion.]
Someone there?
[Even better - if they heard, it meant they were a coven member.]
no subject
[he gropes for both the girl's name, and how to do telepathy, in these stressful circumstances.]
Xion!
[an enormous claw reaches directly into the mass of water, making a grab for her. the Uvi are already turning their attention on him with yells and snarls, and he can't see exactly where she is, though he can get an idea. he doesn't want to hurt her, but if he just carefully reaches a bit further...]
Tell me when I've got you--
no subject
Trying to shift everything around to lunge for his claw is almost impossible. But she manages to jet herself forward, ignoring the sudden slap of water against her face jellyfish tentacles brushing by. And then she's got her arms wrapped around it as the water she's been holding at bay slams into her back, knocking what breath she still had out of her.]
G-go!
no subject
Are you okay?!
no subject
Y-yeah. Yeah, 'm fine.
[The jellyfish stings are painful, but they don't have time to worry about that.]
Where- where are they?
[She's sure as soon as they're back in sight they'll be on the attack again. And while she's more prepared, she still can't hold off five at once if they bring their water attacks to bear.]
no subject
[Geir leans down to snuffle at her and assure himself that she's really as okay as she claims; once he's convinced nothing immediately fatal is broken, he relaxes, much more comfortable with the idea of fighting five Uvi at once than she is. the natural size advantage helps a lot.]
We only have a minute to decide.
no subject
[As much as she hates feeling inadequate, she's under no illusions about that.]
I can try otherwise.
[And in her hand, a peculiar-looking weapon suddenly appears in a flash of light. That being said, she's still uneasy at the idea of a prolonged fight. But she had to try, didn't she?]
no subject
You won't be alone. Come on, let's go!
[he scoops her up again and with just that for a warning, he leaps off the building again, bearing down on the space immediately above the startled Uvi.]
Jump when I say--!
[if she takes his invitation, Xion can leap directly from his claws into the fray, coming down on top of them in a surprise first move.]
no subject
She's mostly used to fighting on her own, but she does pause a second to look and and check where Geir is before dodge rolling forward to avoid a blow from one of the quicker-to-recover Uvi.]
no subject
Next time they try to use water magic, we should switch! You jump back and keep their water off of me, and I'll get them!
no subject
I-I'll try!
[And hey, they have the perfect opportunity, given that the crash has attracted one or two Uvi to their street. Both are trailing some amount of water, though not as much as the first orb Xion had been trapped in.
Paling slightly, Xion pounces on one of the Uvi still standing and gives it several good whacks with the Keyblade, sending it tumbling. Her focus is going to have to be elsewhere momentarily.]
no subject
Wait, I just said-- get behind me! Xion!
[he tenses, half-folding his wings in and getting ready to spring. he doesn't seem to feel any doubt in her ability to hold up her side of the deal. he's ready!
the Uvi are ready too-- one of them sees his crouch and points at him with a gutteral word to its companion, both of them getting ready to fling their burden of water down the street at the girl and the dragon.]
