[A | Flower Gleam and Glow]
[The nearby moon is still passing close to the hub island, meaning the effects are still in play. Perhaps now is the time to stop and smell the large lit up sparkling moonflowers that have bloomed? Or be annoyed by the mosquito-like insects that came with them.

Alternatively, the deer seem to draw some sort of energy from the moon's light. Given their size, at least their sudden aggression and proximity to the base camp isn't the worst thing in the world but a kick would still break a rib or other bone so be careful! Possibly help each other deal with these cute but troublesome fauna.]



[B | Eavesdropping]
[For some reason, the telepathy will suddenly get rather wonky. Characters won't know why it's happening, though of course no doubt there will be ponderings, but it means characters won't be in control of their ability to broadcast — or more specifically, not broadcast — their thoughts. Time to find out secrets of an embarrassing nature. Or maybe something sadder is going on in your character's head.

If this wasn't bad enough, the area around the signet might experience burning or tingling. Just try to keep a lid on your brain for the day and distract yourself from any annoying pain.]



[C | Talking In Your Sleep]
[Or maybe your character just doesn't have the most interesting thoughts. Maybe they're busy thinking about pie instead of their upsetting childhood. That's fair. Pie is great.

But surely sometimes it haunts their dreams. With the telepathy running amuck, it's no wonder dreams and nightmares are leaking through, too. Of course, it doesn't have to be an accident. Feel free to grab a friend and share a fanciful dreamscape together on purpose! But for those nuts that are tougher to crack, accidents can and will happen.]



[D | Who You Gonna Call]
[Last but not least, as Friday rolls around, there seems to be something odd going on with the island. If your character is inclined towards the spiritual or supernatural, they'll no doubt notice the strange heavy thickness hanging around. There are whispers in the air and all of new energy just feels solemn. Might be good to give people a heads up and keep an eye on it.]

[he notices that confusion. that reaction coupled with what she starts to say makes it obvious what the confusion pertains to. before speaking, flynn can't help but note the oddity of someone in a dream displaying this sort of a reaction. then again, dreams seldom make sense.

flynn offers a gentle smile as he elaborates.]

This town is celebrating their liberation from a tyrannical knight captain. My men and I took control from him not too long ago, before everything that I mentioned took place.

[in other words, the people here have no reason to not be in a festive mood. they have no idea of the commandant's true plan, they have no idea that the world will be in danger, they even have no idea that the tyrannical captain's murder took place this very same night. truth be told, the reason he's dreaming of this night as opposed to one that more fits his mood is because it feels as though everything started falling apart here. a night filled with happiness and celebration but also one burdened with memories of his best friend committing a heinous crime.

then again, flynn full well knows he could've stopped it. had he gotten over his surprise, had he realized sooner that yuri planned to dirty his hands so, had he just done his goddamn job as a knight properly then maybe he'd have one less thing to feel guilt over. like homura said, however, the past can't be changed no matter how much he wishes otherwise. what he needs to do is never allow history to repeat itself.]

[ she relaxes visibly, tension bleeding from her frame after he elaborates further. so it's not- it's not one of those places then, the ones where you have to be wary of everything, even if they look normal, harmless. the ones where you can't trust anything you think you know, going even beyond simple common sense like 'avoid empty places after dark.'

I'm sorry, I'm just passing through, I think, so I didn't know. But now that you say that, it makes a lot of sense. I guess... they don't know the rest either, do they?

[ this town seems a little small to be a capitol, or anything near. she might be wrong, but it makes sense. a desert must be far removed from any city, so they mustn't have heard, to be so happy. it's like a bubble of sorts. safe, until it pops.

the fireworks really are pretty. ]

[watching her relax after hearing that makes flynn glad. the people here are a kind bunch so no reason exists to be on edge. with cumore gone, people don't need to live in fear anymore. ...killing him brought them happiness, but killing is a crime and cannot be permitted.

his thoughts drifting back to that almost gets him to frown but flynn catches himself. tonight's been filled with more than enough chatting about his problems. why not focus on something a little less heavy? like fireworks. yes, fireworks are nice. the show going on right now can only be called spectacular so he opts to watch that instead of musing about murder further.]

Not yet, no. They can enjoy their celebration in peace.

[after watching another set of fireworks go off, flynn realizes something and smiles over at homura.]

They have dancing and various activities toward the center of town if you'd be interested in those.
