[It's tough to live on an island that doesn't have many resources outside of the limited food sources and running streams. While Brie is aware of some other minor sources of food, like fish and frogs, one person exploring an island on their own means there are a lot of secret spots left to uncover. Despite adventuring for three years, her time on the hub itself has been much shorter, only staying for days or weeks at a time. Now that there are more people on this journey, covering ground is a lot easier.
Recently she's discovered another large estate -- much larger than her current shared mansion, which might also mean it has some supplies inside. On the morning of Day #, she's called together those who are hankering for more supplies in order to bring as much back as possible. Congrats, you get first dibs.
A. Upon approaching the house, the first thing that's noticeable is its size. It's all one story, but very flat and spacious. There are gardens in both the front and the rear, and upon entering (Brie might have enlisted you to help break the door down, oops) the inside is also quite vast. There are tons of rooms, multiple bedrooms and bathrooms, two kitchens and other rooms that aren't even explorable because they need keys to be entered. Unless you can find these keys, that is?
B. Alternatively, or maybe even aside from exploring the house, Brie's also suggested that you do some exploring on your own. Again, she's one woman with limited time to scout the island herself. What can you find? What resources are there to be harvested? Will you share in this bounty, or keep it to yourself?]

[Scavenging around the house is a pretty big deal. Everyone is scattered and everyone is finding different things.
At some point Haru is going to come across a taped up box, upon opening it she finds an assortment of dishes, wine glasses, and kitchenware.]
Oh! This could be useful!
[Cue Haru trying to pick this box up....]
THE FOREST
[And now with a makeshift pack, Haru is going to go off to explore on her own. If she were to run into anyone on the way there she wouldn't mind. But it seems like she has one goal: find things she can uproot and plant.
It seems she might known where she's going too, as if she found something before and she's heading right back to it to grab a couple of things.]
no subject
Ah, there you are. Do you need help with that?
no subject
[She's scooting the box out.] I think so, yes. It's kind of heavy.
no subject
[He's scrawny himself, but he can help scoot the box out in the meantime.]
And yes. How much do you know about plants?
no subject
[She's going through the dishes. There are a lot. At the question she's going to nod.]
What do you need to know?

[She didn't hear about the orchard though...]
Can you show me the orchard?
no subject
[He sounds approving.]
And of course. There's nothing growing there right now--the trees had some sort of disease--but if that could be taken care of somehow . . . .
no subject
[She seems pleased with her findings today.]
I haven't really tried to grow a tree or tend to them, but I guess I could try learning while I'm here?
no subject
I think we're all going to be learning a few new things while we're in this situation. Did you want to go see the orchard now? It's a little ways away from here.

[She is going to close and set her box aside. Writing her name on it with ehatever writing utensil she finds in the room.]
no subject
You gardened back on your world, I presume? As a hobby or was it a profession?
no subject
[She is going to trust Jay and follow him then!]

[she perks up at Haru's voice.]
What did you find, Haru-san?
no subject
[They're going to have tea once Haru figures out that she has that. She did find some earlier when she went out.]
no subject
[Madoka holds up the teapot so that Haru can see.]
It looks like we have dinner covered now.
no subject
[She wonders if there was a working stove in here.]
Did you find anything else?
no subject
[she pauses, then grabs the purse that she found, opens it and turns it over to dump out the contents. there's an empty wallet, and a makeup bag that appears to be full of ... well, Madoka doesn't know what's in it yet.]
It's not much, but the purse could be useful.
no subject
[She's inspecting the size of the purse, and the contents. What in the world was inside the bag anyways...?]
You could carry small items in the purse.
no subject
[Madoka reaches for the makeup bag, unzipping it and dumping out the contents much like she did the purse. it's ... well, it's mostly makeup. foundation, eyeliner, a vibrant, reddish purple lipstick. actually, it reminds Madoka of the makeup her mama wears.]
[there's also a small bottle of rubbing alcohol, a pack of tissues and some bandaids. her first aid kit officially has its first supplies.]
no subject
[The makeup is cute and all, but it's the other stuff is a lot more useful.]
I would carry that stuff with you too.
no subject
[Madoka will be using the purse as her poorly supplied first aid kit for now. and, she doesn't mean to sound distracted, she's just turning the tube of lipstick over in her hands, perhaps a bit wistful.]
Mama would really like this, I think. [ah, there it is. it's homesickness.]
no subject
You miss her, don't you?
[She can't replace that or help that feeling, but she can support Madoka and be a willing ear if she needed one at the very least. This journey was hard on all of them. But Madoka was so young...]
no subject
[Madoka opens the lipstick tube and twists it up, to get a better look at the hue.]
Actually ... I miss her, but it also feels nice to talk about her.
no subject
It makes you feel a little happy to talk about her, right? Because she's someone you love a lot.
