[It's tough to live on an island that doesn't have many resources outside of the limited food sources and running streams. While Brie is aware of some other minor sources of food, like fish and frogs, one person exploring an island on their own means there are a lot of secret spots left to uncover. Despite adventuring for three years, her time on the hub itself has been much shorter, only staying for days or weeks at a time. Now that there are more people on this journey, covering ground is a lot easier.

Recently she's discovered another large estate -- much larger than her current shared mansion, which might also mean it has some supplies inside. On the morning of Day #, she's called together those who are hankering for more supplies in order to bring as much back as possible. Congrats, you get first dibs.

A. Upon approaching the house, the first thing that's noticeable is its size. It's all one story, but very flat and spacious. There are gardens in both the front and the rear, and upon entering (Brie might have enlisted you to help break the door down, oops) the inside is also quite vast. There are tons of rooms, multiple bedrooms and bathrooms, two kitchens and other rooms that aren't even explorable because they need keys to be entered. Unless you can find these keys, that is?

B. Alternatively, or maybe even aside from exploring the house, Brie's also suggested that you do some exploring on your own. Again, she's one woman with limited time to scout the island herself. What can you find? What resources are there to be harvested? Will you share in this bounty, or keep it to yourself?]

Your--is he related to you? Well, anyway, Jake might know. He seemed to know a bit about plants.

[There's a small laugh.]

We're related, yeah. [He's not going to go into the "how" because ectobiology is So Much, but it'd also be stupid to try to say that they aren't. They look too much alike to ignore that.] He grew up in the jungle so I think he knows how to identify plants a lot better than me. You've talked to him about it already?

[rebells]

We spoke during the mapping trip. He thought the disease in that orchard might be curable, although he wasn't sure what it was.

[windeity]

It'd be hard to track an alien disease, if that is even what it is. It'd be cool if we could find out about the flora around here and start growing more stuff on the island and make it healthy again. The mushrooms are new, but they seem fine even if they're growing in weird formations? [A gesture.] Is this normal?

[rebells]

They are, actually. [He knows a little about this kind of thing, living on the Legacy with so many odd species of flora and fauna.] Mushrooms often grow in patterns like this . . . scholars believe they're taking up the nutrients of long-dead tree stumps.

Or possibly it's fairies.

[He says that dryly.]

So really what our options are are more magic, or a bunch of dead trees that died off long before we got here. The stupid part is that it could be either.

[Fairies is a very viable option.] But then if there used to be tree stumps...what, the roots corroded into the earth? I sort of wish the items Genette gave us were able to test this kind of thing, but the whole island has been hit and miss.

[rebells]

[He sighs.]

It would be helpful if we knew anything about what world this place originally came from. Does Qri know? She isn't telling either of her disciples, apparently.

[windeity]

[Well.]

I think it might be a little hard to share that kind of information when a person is in a coma, but I do not know. I don't think any of us have spoken to Qri directly.

[rebells]

No, she's very mysterious, this Qri. I suppose being in a coma makes it easier to be.

[windeity]

I guess maybe this is a stupid question, but how do you bring a person out of a coma anyway?

[rebells]

In my experience, you don't. But perhaps a magically induced coma is different.

[windeity]

I'm not sure how valid that is anyway. That is just what Dirk told me, so I cannot even confirm it myself. But maybe. Isn't that how it goes in fairy tales? Comas can be broken by stuff like spells or whatever.

[rebells]

True love's kiss? I don't think that one's at hand.

[windeity]

There are other ways. [No that's definitely the way he was thinking of, god.] Also we don't know that. Maybe Qri is waiting to pull just the right person from the universe to test that out.

[rebells]

[He gives John a Look.]

Are you volunteering to try it out?

[windeity]

What? No, absolutely not! [Ahhhh.] But I am just saying it is a possibility to be open to. We didn't think it would work either? [What are you even talking about, John.]

[rebells]

[Well.]

What, have you tried this method before . . . .

[windeity]

Yes, and it worked. So that is why I think it is a possibility. [That's not how it works but okay.]

[rebells]

[No, no, wait, we're still stuck on this.]

You . . . woke someone up from a coma by kissing them.

[windeity]

Kind of. I woke up someone's dream self by kissing them after they'd died. [This continues to get Worse.] It's just a game rule.
