A prompt is for house exploring, and you can list off multiple A prompts like A1, A2, etc. for more than one prompt within the house. B prompts (B1, B2, etc) are for exploring the island and may be open to all OR select friends who your character is exploring with.

[It's tough to live on an island that doesn't have many resources outside of the limited food sources and running streams. While Brie is aware of some other minor sources of food, like fish and frogs, one person exploring an island on their own means there are a lot of secret spots left to uncover. Despite adventuring for three years, her time on the hub itself has been much shorter, only staying for days or weeks at a time. Now that there are more people on this journey, covering ground is a lot easier.

Recently she's discovered another large estate -- much larger than her current shared mansion, which might also mean it has some supplies inside. On the morning of Day #, she's called together those who are hankering for more supplies in order to bring as much back as possible. Congrats, you get first dibs.

A. Upon approaching the house, the first thing that's noticeable is its size. It's all one story, but very flat and spacious. There are gardens in both the front and the rear, and upon entering (Brie might have enlisted you to help break the door down, oops) the inside is also quite vast. There are tons of rooms, multiple bedrooms and bathrooms, two kitchens and other rooms that aren't even explorable because they need keys to be entered. Unless you can find these keys, that is?

B. Alternatively, or maybe even aside from exploring the house, Brie's also suggested that you do some exploring on your own. Again, she's one woman with limited time to scout the island herself. What can you find? What resources are there to be harvested? Will you share in this bounty, or keep it to yourself?]

Ah, how considerate of you.

[He turns his attention back to the lock, sliding in the straight piece and listening carefully at the knob. Rattle, rattle. He does this a couple more times--it takes him a while to catch the pins in exactly the right way . . . .]

This is a bit crude, but it should work--ah.

[but then he does . . . and the door clicks open.]

[actus]

[ it worked. ]

...Cool.

[ akira hasn't really had any practice with picking locks in the real world, apart from that one time with yusuke, but that had taken far too many guts. he isn't sure he's ready to start picking locks of a house he knows nothing about. ]

You'll have to teach me that.

[rebells]

I'd be happy to show you later. [That seems sincere, at least.] Shall we go in?

[Inside is . . . let's say, what looks like a storage room, with lots of crates and boxes. They're stacked sort of haphazardly on top of one another.]

[actus]

[ ... how ominous. akira peers into the room, squinting to try and make out the shapes of the boxes. ]

It's kind of dark.

[ wait, he has just the thing for this! he murmurs under his breath, something about a chicken crossing a road, and his fingers begin to glow with tiny embers. ]

Let's go.

[ boldly where no man has gone before -- inside the storage room! ]

[rebells]

[No, wait, wait, this is a thing that requires explanation.]

Is that seriously your power . . . .

[actus]

[ listen ... ]

Yeah?

[ he glances back over at him. in utter deadpan. ]

[rebells]

That's absolutely ludicrous.

[He says it with something of a smile, though. Into the room they go! There are boxes of clothes, and at least one that's full of children's toys . . . probably some other things, too.]

[actus]

[ hey, he isn't going to argue with that. it's kind of stupid. ]

What's yours?

[ just for conversation sake, as he curls his hand into a fist so that the ball of light is a bit more focused. ]

[rebells]

[There's an irritated sigh from over by a crate pile, as Jay picks through one of the boxes with clothes to make sure there's nothing more interesting in there.]

I can "project my emotions" onto other people.

[This is obviously the worst thing that ever happened to anyone.]

[actus]

...That sucks. I'm sorry.

[ he'd never want that power. just yikes.

akira, meanwhile, begins investigating the crates, coming across a weird puzzle piece. it has an alien lady on it? how peculiar. ]

[rebells]

[Hmm. Let's ignore the power discussion for the moment in favor of looking at that.]

Do you think it's meant to be a puzzle of an alien, or is that the species that lived here?

[actus]

[ a good decision! ]

Why not both? [ he shrugs, and squints a bit harder at the piece. ]

There's gotta be more here.

[rebells]

Whoever was here before us was humanoid, at least, judging by the clothes.

[Though he's aware that doesn't necessarily mean human. He continues to look through the boxes.]

I do wonder. I found a--refrigerator full of spoiled food in one of the other rooms. It seems like the people living here just disappeared one day.

[actus]

Just disappeared one day.

[ he repeats it, the words unsettling in their own right. he frowns and continues sorting through boxes, mindful to be on the lookout for any creepy bugs or snakes. you never know. ]

What were the expiration dates?

[rebells]

You mean the writing on the packages? I couldn't read it. It wasn't in any language I recognize.

[actus]

It didn't have numbers, either?

[ he frowns. that's problematic, but also tends to lend to the theory that they are far, far from home. ]

[rebells]

I didn't see any on the packages.

[actus]

Weird.

[ he pokes his head into another one of the boxes and finds another puzzle piece, squinting at it just a bit. ]

Someone must have liked puzzles.

[rebells]

Apparently.

[He sticks a hand in one of the other boxes and pulls out a sheet set.]

This is all very domestic.

[actus]

Yeah. I mean ... we're in a house.

[ akira can't help the grin that plays at his lips. ]

[rebells]

Some homes are more domestic than others. But I take your point.

I'm Jay, by the way. A pleasure to meet you.

[actus]

Akira. You too.

[ he peers at the storage room again, slightly defeated. ]

Do you know when you're projecting? [ okay, guess they're back on that. ]

[rebells]

[He makes a face--someone really doesn't like this line of conversation.]

I have to be touching the person.

[actus]

That's good. At least you have some kind of heads-up.

[ mental note: don't touch this guy without his permission. it feels kind of invasive. ]

[rebells]

That's about the only thing good about it, yes.
