[The process will be familiar to some of you and new to others: some time over the past week, Jay or someone else would have quietly approached you in person and let you know about a meeting that was taking place tonight, hopefully away from the watchful gaze of Brie, Genette, and Qri.

Jay will greet you by the door. It might be a tight fit in the Geir-and-Vern apartment (if indeed it can be considered an apartment), depending on how many people show up. Take a seat on the ground next to the dragon--or on the dragon, if he'll let you--and wait for the meeting to come to order.]

I think most people are skeptical, but some are more willing to go along than others! I'm not sure I'm not willing to go along, actually. There seem like reasons why it would be a good idea.

There are people whose situations at home are bad and need fixing somehow. Even if Qri doesn't help herself, she's said she'd help us travel to other worlds after she's done with us-- and other members of the coven will help. I've been thinking about that!

Okay so, this is going to come off as rude, and I want you to know that I absolutely mean it in that way, but why do you even care?

[Geir regards the weird troll with genuine, respectful admiration. he can really get behind a guy who announces he is trying to come off as rude from the get-go; sometimes Geir struggles with understanding what people are trying to convey, and this kind of clarity is something he really approves of. thanks, Karkat.]
