anarqrists not-so-anonymous: redux

Who: Salty Anarqrists Club (Jay's invites + anyone those people decide to invite)
Where: DRAGON HOUSING (on the first floor of the coven's apartment complex in Shehui)
When: Day 148, evening
Open/Closed: ICly closed! potential gatecrashers should PM [personal profile] rebells.

[The process will be familiar to some of you and new to others: some time over the past week, Jay or someone else would have quietly approached you in person and let you know about a meeting that was taking place tonight, hopefully away from the watchful gaze of Brie, Genette, and Qri.

Jay will greet you by the door. It might be a tight fit in the Geir-and-Vern apartment (if indeed it can be considered an apartment), depending on how many people show up. Take a seat on the ground next to the dragon--or on the dragon, if he'll let you--and wait for the meeting to come to order.]

Is it different because you're a-- [not a machine. Nines was very clear that machines weren't the same thing.]

Because you're not human?
apatheia: (we don't talk about the sidequests)

It's possible, but I'd think that Qri would have to have very extensive knowledge of how androids, specifically YoRHa androids, work. When she can't even communicate with us directly though, I don't know how she'd be able to obtain that kind of information.

[Like not even most androids themselves would be able to explain how they work and how to repair them, so how could a with in some distant universe figure it out?]

...that's a good question, actually. Have you ever asked if Madoka or Genette can heal you guys? If they can, it means that "healing" isn't only restricted to flesh, when they're able to do it.

[and that's an interesting point all by itself, isn't it...]
apatheia: (so that's... a tshirt.....)

No, I haven't, but that's a good question. I've never needed extensive healing, and if I did, I'd most likely go to 9S first for repairs, but... It may be worth finding out.

[It'd probably be best not to just rely on 9S for repairs after all, although the idea of something like magic fixing something robotic like her seems a bit odd.]

I've never thought about this before, but I guess I assume that anything Qri can give us the ability to do, she can do herself, too. It would be stranger if she could give us things that she herself doesn't possess.

[he lets out a long breath, still thinking about the implications of that. maybe they can all figure out Qri's limits by finding their own.]

So... so that's something to think about. Some of the people here have weird powers.
apatheia: (do you even hear yourself)

[personal profile] apatheia 2017-12-19 06:48 am (UTC)(link)
Hmm. That doesn't sound too unreasonable, but...

[But that leaves a much more alarming thought of not knowing just how powerful Qri is. Pulling people from across universes is already one thing, but to be capable of anything they've gained here, is. A bit concerning, to say the least.]

What sort of powers have you seen here though? It's not really something I ask about, admittedly.

I think Jay's kept better track of them-- let's ask him! But I do know that I've seen people control plants with their thoughts, and feel peoples' emotions, and lift heavy things, and make "refrigerators" appear out of thin air. Just a lot of weird stuff, anything you can think of! And I've got "enlivening," of course.

[he thinks about it more, and decides:]

She might not be able to do all those things at once. Maybe they're part of her powers, but she doesn't have a lot of strength right now.
