Plus, the monitor robot still needs a name. You're not going to leave them nameless forever, are you?

Too bad Genette's put out word that everyone's about to be moving location soon. That means these are the last days the coven has for a little while to get everything in order, whether it's to take things to the next destination or to leave them behind. Get your bags packed and your huts cleaned, everyone!]

I... think that quiet can be a good thing. Sometimes, quietness means that it's peaceful.

I think so. I've heard that keeping all your feelings to yourself can lead to greater consequences than not.

[Shirley doesn't want to say that's wrong...but also, acting on her feelings has rarely done her any favors when it really counts. So she's not so sure what to think.]

Has it worked for you, before?

Not for me exactly, but... it's worked for those who I've said this to.

[It's meant politely, although Shirley really is looking for proof. Probably. She's not entirely sure what she'd do even if it were true.]

[Shirley's firm on that statement, even if she's obviously frustrated too. That part is more at herself, for being so transparent.

If she were having this conversation with Fenimore, this is the point where Shirley would apologize and explain what she was thinking. But Fenimore is gone and Eleanor has no reason to want to listen to her, so she just gets the apology.]

...I'm sorry, too. You were just telling me about something you heard.

... No, it's alright. It's normal to feel overwhelmed and confused here - on top of anything else that you may be dealing with right now.

[ She meant to help - not cause harm. ]

Is that so...

[If overwhelmed and confused is normal here, surely there could be better people for the job they're all meant to do. Assuming there's some reason to their selection, anyway. Destiny could be a possibility too, and that thought feels strange for Shirley to consider.]

I wonder why Qri chose us for all of this.

... My guess is that she sees as as those with skills that can help her. But at the same time... It's almost a mystery.

I don't think I have any skills that would be useful out here. I wish it were easier to talk to her and ask what she intended.
