[ A telepathic voice message from Sophie will be going out to anyone near the vicinity of the beach: ]

If anyone's close by the beach, come find me. There's something I want to show you.

[ And that's all she's going to say about it. It's a surprise!

On a high cliffside overlooking the small bit of ocean that the island has remaining, colorful patches of flowers cover the area. Although, there's noticeably an even bigger number of purple ones for some reason. The little flower meadow didn't exist before, at least not prior to Sophie's arrival.

Initially, she was slower than others to be able to use her magic. Now it comes easily to her, being able to have patches of flowers materialize with a simple touch on the ground. She used her magic to create a meadow as close to resembling the one back home, on Lhant Hill. However, it does have a few small differences, such as a few moonflowers from recent happenings on the island. There's no tree to make a friendship pact on and there's no Foselos in the sky. And likely, over time, there will be some new additions to the meadow.

Anyone who decides to wander into the area will find Sophie quietly sitting by the edge of the cliff, staring out towards the small ocean and into space. She's not actually zoning out, but looking thoughtful more than anything. ]

I love them! I can see why you made so many. Do you think the seeds are going to grow?! There's lots of starlight here...

[for a moment, Geir isn't thinking about oncoming winter or the weird nature of the Hub island, or anything else. he's just excited about the flowers.]

Oh, it's getting colder, isn't it-- maybe the seeds will survive till spring!

Open, bright, you'd think it was like any other place.

[ Well it is an island. It just happens to house a bunch of people that don't belong on it. If there was a nice vacation resort here and cable, he wouldn't mind it so much. ]

A boat can probably be built with enough wood. Anyone try?

[ Not that he's volunteering. He doesn't know the first thing about boat construction or engineering. Knowing him, he'd make something that would sink two feet from the shore line. But given all the people stuck here, someone should know how to build one. ]

I've never thought about going by something like a flower name.

[She knows that a lot of the Resistance androids had names aside from their unit designations, and thinking about it, an anemone was a flower too, wasn't it? Maybe Anemone would agree with Sophie. Still, it's somehow hard to picture herself with a different name. Sophie's suggestions aside, she doesn't know what she'd call herself.

Besides...]

But I don't mind being called "2B" either. [It might not be her real unit designation, but she likes it better. It's who she chooses to be, even if that's not who she really is.]

[ Well, she doesn't stop smiling about it. So, nailed it! Not even Sophie knows where the name derived from. Asbel was a strange child back then. ]

You're not sure, Riko? Have you always stayed in one place before all this?

[ She has been on two different worlds before and there were a few different races. There were monsters, humans, humanoids... Turtle people... cat people... ]

[ She stares at him like he'd said something very strange. ]

You should explore a little more, Ray. Other places on the island are open and bright too.

[ Except for maybe if you're inside of one of the caves. The comparison to a prison flew right over her head. ]

I don't know if anyone tried...

[ She doesn't know anything about construction either. She's mostly good for punching down tough objects and gathering materials for the construction. There were others on the island before their arrival. At this point, someone should have thought of the idea to build a boat or shuttle... ]

But I saw a really big dragon? I think he would have flown off the island by now.

It's okay. I'll keep on calling you "2B".

[ If that's what she likes. It's not like how she dislikes being called Protos Heis, at least. Thinking of a flower name that would match with the android is fun to think about though.

Lily and tulip... they both have the color white. Daphne is another one that she's familiar with and she's aware there's a lot more that she'd love to know about. White flowers seem like the best kind that would suit 2B. ]

But you know what? I bet you'd look really nice if you put a flower in your hair, 2B!

Oh! So we both know 9S! Let's make 9S happy! ♪

[ Is she talking to Jude or the flowers? Very likely both.

After giving the sopherias a look over, she stands up. They might need a few extra supplies to at least let the flowers last a little longer once picked. ]

We should get something sharp to cut the stems and a vase of water.

I hope so.

[ Flowers were able to grow on Lhant Hill all year-round due to its location. She'd found a similar cliff on the island, but she's not sure how well the flowers will fare.

If the seeds don't survive in the cold, of course she'll be sad. And that's just how it is. She'll try again and plant new ones with her magic. ]

...I'll just have to keep an eye on my babies.

Well...I just moved once from one city to a rural town to live there. But it's definitely not going to another world level, even if it was...an experience.

[ The city is always so busy and loud compared to the town she was living in until getting here. ]

I don't think it counts, though. So yes, I've been always staying in one place...how about you, Sophie-chan?

[ his smile softens into something fond. ]

That's the plan!

Maybe someone has a weapon on them we can borrow. I'm not sure about the vase, but I can look around and see if I can find a makeshift one.

You think of them as your babies?

[Geir noses thoughtfully at the flowers, surprised by that. he's not really familiar with feeling parental about anything, though he's had flickers of it in the past... that time when they all had strange dreams, when he noticed how much younger Sorey and Mikleo seemed than himself, is the closest he's come.]

Why?

[It's almost startling, how similar her words are to what 6O told her before. They make her chest ache, and not for the first time, she wishes 6O was here as well. Alive and able to see the bounty of nature available here. She and Sophie probably would've gotten along.]

... You're not the first person who's said that to me, actually. [There's something warm in her voice, but it's a little sad too.] They liked flowers a lot, too, like you do.

[ Come to think of it, Noctis technically is a big dragon now. Why hasn't he tried flying off? Forget about boats. Maybe he could explore it all on his own like that... ]

Guess you have a point. Might finally get around to that.

[ It's not like he has a whole lot of other things to do. It's why he's here now looking at flowers instead of being productive. Never mind that he had assumed there was something cooler he was summoned for. ]

Did the dragon say he couldn't fly out of here?

[ They don't know for sure it's not a possibility, and he'll try anything at this point. ]

My friends and I were always traveling. We took a boat to other countries and a shuttle to the planet where I was born.

[ Wherever Asbel goes, she usually goes too. And mostly because they had business to attend to... like saving the world. ~~Just JRPG things.~~ She didn't settle down in Lhant until later. Traveling gave her an opportunity to learn more and she has fun, but staying in one place is just as pleasant for her as long as she's not alone. ]

I don't know. I didn't ask...

[ Somehow, it didn't cross her mind to ask that question when she first met up with the dragon. Too preoccupied chatting over flowers and their magic.

It's a good question though. She stands up, paying no mind to some of the grass sticking all over her legs now. She looks around thoughtfully, thinking on if she should track down Geir again or not. ]

Should I call the dragon back over and ask him?

[ Perhaps one of her artes would work with the cutting, but she'd rather play it safe. ]

Let's check back at the mansion or see if anyone at the huts has something useful. Anything that can hold some water should be fine.

Mothers take care of their children. Like making sure they stay healthy so they can grow up big and strong!

[ She mostly bases her familiarity with parental instincts with how caring Asbel and Cheria act towards her. She was born without parents and Asbel had recently became her adoptive father back home. ]

I make sure I do the same for my flowers.

[ She seems to pick up the hint of sadness, but she guesses it's similar to most people on the island with how they're all separated from their friends and families. Though she's aware from 9S that most of YoRHa are no longer functional. She doesn't know how few are left. ]

Were they a friend from home?

They were, yeah.

[Although she never told 6O as much. She thinks her operator probably saw her that way at least, even though she tended to be distant with her. As she was with everyone, really.

Maybe even now, too. Old habits are hard to break.]

I think she'd like it here, if she could ever come.

Better not bug him... he seemed a little cranky.

[ Probably because Noctis was trying to shove off a whole lot of work onto him. But he'd rather not poke the hornet's nest with a stick by asking him questions that he could easily find out the answers to himself. All it takes is mastering his transformation, a feat he's yet to approach seriously, and now is probably not the best time to try. He doesn't want to ruin the girl's nice flower bed. ]

How about I get back to you on that one later? I should take a look around while I'm up...

[ Because who knows how long being awake will last when it comes to him? ]

Ohhhh. That does sound... nice.

[is that how his mother felt about him and his siblings? he can't ask her now, he supposes. he doesn't have as many memories of Angrboda as he might... they were still young when they were taken to Odin's hall.]

I know your flowers are going to do well. Even if they get cold and go away for a while for the winter, they'll be back in the spring for sure.

I hope she can come. I'd like to meet her.

[ If it can make 2B happy, then Sophie would like for it to happen. It's a mystery how they're whisked away to the coven and how it's decided. She doesn't understand why some of the people here are brought alone or at separate times. ]

Is she like you?

[ From YoRHa. Knowing three of the androids already, she can't help but ask. ]

[nodding] She's from YoRHa as well, although she's a different model type from all of us.

[They'd have quite a variety of model types here if that ever happened. If. It's a slim possibility, but given her own impossible presence here, she'd like to think it's possible if nothing else.]

You two would probably get along.
