[So Jay may have pulled you discreetly aside some time over the last week or so and invited you to a particular location near the mountains, or you may have been dragged along by a friend. Either way, there's a small group of people forming in this forest clearing, Jay at the center, pacing back and forth as has become his tendency.

[Dirk is calm and careful. He isn't going to overstate his abilities—frankly, he hasn't done much of anything with souls, and helping Madoka was the first positive thing he'd ever managed. But it also feels wrong to deny that he could be of help if there is a change.]

No one quite like you. However, I encountered a similar case, and I've been able to provide some help.

I can reliably take souls out of things, put them into things, and destroy them. The rest I've been trying to figure out how to fine-tune without endangering, you know, someone's actual soul.
