[It's about noon on the island, based on the position of the sun. The newbies have had a few days to settle in, but that doesn't mean they've fully mastered their newfound abilities.

As much stock as Genette puts into telepathy, Brie is more concerned about their other newfound gifts. She's aggressively tried to wrangle as many newbies as possible onto the sandy shores of the beachfront area for some magic practice.

She's got a list of everyone's magic -- only a few vague notes, limitations are for you to discover -- and she's handing out missions for magic training. If you want to participate? Feel free. If you don't? Suit yourself.

But understanding your magic isn't just an activity that benefits the group. Learning your magic's abilities may be what stands between you and survival, which is something she makes perfectly clear.]

[It's...Hibiki needs an explanation. Why did the whole hut disappear when he looked away just for a moment? Or maybe he shouldn't ask why, but how? Besides, technically it wasn't the whole hut, just the exterior?

It's not even his hut or anything, but what just happened here? He has to know.]

[ Minato answers the question, but he offers absolutely nothing more that would lead to admission of his guilt. Sorry to whoever lives here!!! At least he left the bed and stuff intact... For being faced with a sudden disappearance like this, Minato doesn't look all too bothered; he's a little proud of himself, actually. He'd gotten the hut to disappear without transforming everything else inside of it. ]

Did you see anybody else around here?

[Hibiki just goes on with this little investigation of his, trying to find out what happened. And why would someone leave the bed and other furniture out...that doesn't make sense in his book.

Not that a hut disappearing does??]

[ He could leave it at that, thank you yes-no questions, but he elaborates anyways, waving vaguely at the empty space in front of him that is the lack of walls. ]

I was a bit distracted.

[ As anybody would be if they came across this scene, right? ]

I'm sure it'll turn up, though. Eventually.

Hm.

[That's understandable, though. He wasn't paying that much attention to the hut either. On the other hand...Minato was standing much, much closer.

Weird.]

Let's hope this is a one-time accident, nothing more. And that whoever lost their hut won't come to us asking for accommodation.

Right...

[ And not a while later, half the camp is forced into musical beds. But it's not entirely his fault; other people are straight-up destroying the huts, while Minato could potentially give it back (he's not going to). ]

Were you going back to your hut to rest? Or practice?

I was going back, actually. It's been a long day, don't you think? I mean, given that you did attend the training. You were practicing, right?

Yes. I just finished my last task.

[ aka stealing a hut. but before he's asked to elaborate and out himself, he'll ask first- ]

What was your training like?

I had to make three things out of paper for three different people. Nothing too spectacular, I'd say.

[He's going to ask anyway, oops...it would be rude to talk just about himself without giving Minato a chance.]

And what task was that?

Turning things into beads. What is making things out of paper like?
