[She doesn't like it, but, she's going to keep his hand for a moment and just...sit here. Sit here and think about all the ways she could argue. But all the ways she knows that it seriously won't help anyone.

So she shifts in her bed.]

I apologize. It's just... I'm at a loss at the moment. Being taken out of action when you were so determined to keep helping.

[It's fine though.]

I won't do anything to concern you or anyone else.

[talim]

Haru... Helping you is helping.

[ he states it plainly. ]

That's what I'm here for, isn't it?

[mapsio]

[But he could also be helping other people that...aren't her. It's a battle.]

You told me not to apologize... but I want to. I know I am being incredibly difficult right now.

[She pauses her thought for a moment, looking at him directly.]

I'm glad to have a friend like you by my side.

[talim]

The Uvi are the ones being difficult.

[ but jude smiles, softly. he knows she needs a smile more than anyone else. ]

I'm grateful, too. I'm grateful we had the chance to meet at all.

[mapsio]

It's just remembering that times like these are what brings people together. Even if the circumstances aren't that great.

[She relaxes a little more, taking a deep breath. She's tired and she knows it now. Her limbs are very heavy. It's the weight of the situation finally settling in.]

[talim]

[ there are clean blankets on hand, folded neatly at the end of the makeshift bed. jude figures it's a good idea to grab one and drape it over her shoulders. ]

Here. Take this.

[ he smooths his hand over hers one last time and offers her a kind smile. ]

Sleep. You might not think so, but I'd say you've earned it.

[ and before she can argue... ]

Doctor's orders?

[mapsio]

[She really hadn't planed on arguing any further. She's reached the limit of what she can handle at the moment.

So she'll lay back finally and pull the blanket around herself.]

Doctor's orders, then.

[ jude gives her one last smile before he moves on to check in with the other patients. ]
