[WORLD TWO | SIGNET MELTDOWN MINGLE]
Who: Anyone!
Where: Everywhere
When: Day 197-200
Open/Closed: OTA
[ If you've never experienced that ear-splitting, spine-tingling, bone-crushing headache that comes with Qri doing...something...then you're in for a treat. It lasts for about an hour on the first day, though usually it fades after a while and things go back to normal.
This time, you aren't so lucky. As soon as the headache passes, you notice there's a certain something missing within you. You may not notice it immediately, but the next time you hear someone talk their words might be equivalent to gibberish. When you go to ask someone what's going on with your telepathy, you find that your words just circle your own brain, no one answering because the message simply can't be received.
This...may be a problem. Hopefully you know how to play charades. ]

[ after three years of a meteor with kanaya only paying attention to a drunk rose, and terezi off the bend because of gamzee, that gave karkat time to make friends with dave and argue about how stupid earth is. ]

[WHY DOES AMERICA, THE LARGEST EMPIRE, NOT SIMPLY EAT THE OTHER ONES???? #alterniansociology]
They are a very strange species.
no subject
[ because the answer is, obviously, that they are weak. ]

[She seems a little doubtful, though. Humans have the Internet and lolcat videos, after all.]
What do you think is behind the changes?
no subject
[ it's hard to say since he doesn't really know much about how the translation device works. ]
no subject
It could be some accident of hers! Which raises the question of what she was trying to do, because I do not think "make it harder for us to talk to each other" was it.
no subject
[ his opinion is not very high. ]
The fact that it hasn't been fixed yet says a lot.
no subject
Be serious. Do you really think she would go to all this trouble just to fuck with us?
no subject
[ hell, both of them have done a lot of bullshit for the sake of fucking with people. ]
no subject
Gamzee Makara does not count.
no subject
[ they probably will, when they eventually decide to Talk About It. but they've avoided the topic very well so far, so why change that? ]
It's either that or they're showing us their incompetence.
no subject
That is essentially what I meant by "accident." Although I suppose it could also be Shehui doing something.

I don't think we know what they would or would not be able to do!

[ the people who come from very specific worlds that have their own language. ]

[ ... ]
Although we could probably easily find out if we summon everyone together?
no subject
We cannot use the signets. We would have to go door-to-door.
no subject
[ that sounds awful. ]
no subject
You do not want to be door-to-door meowbeast herders?
no subject
[ he can only assume someone else would do the same to them. ]
no subject
[She pauses, her finger on her mouth in a thinking pose, and seems to reconsider this.]
Correction. That is approximately eighty percent of the fun.
