[ If you've never experienced that ear-splitting, spine-tingling, bone-crushing headache that comes with Qri doing...something...then you're in for a treat. It lasts for about an hour on the first day, though usually it fades after a while and things go back to normal.

This time, you aren't so lucky. As soon as the headache passes, you notice there's a certain something missing within you. You may not notice it immediately, but the next time you hear someone talk their words might be equivalent to gibberish. When you go to ask someone what's going on with your telepathy, you find that your words just circle your own brain, no one answering because the message simply can't be received.

This...may be a problem. Hopefully you know how to play charades. ]

[O-oh. That's not actually something she's used to hearing--she's more accustomed to "TERRIFYING," and to an extent tries to provoke that reaction--and it takes her aback for a moment.

Just for a moment, though; in the next instant her expression has sharpened back into that same shit-eating grin.]

[Madoka's grin is decidedly less shit-eating, but it's there all the same. she's happy she was able to get her thought across!]

[she points at His Honorable Tyranny next, and draws a question mark. who's this uh. guy?]

[She's game to try, though. She writes HIS HONORABLE TYRANNY in block letters below the drawing of him--without leetspeak, even.]

It is His Honorable Tyranny's job to . . . watch over the trial! To decide the fate of the defendant. [She points to the troll in the noose.] Probably by eating him.

[Terezi is a saint for refraining from the leetspeak. but yeah, Madoka is just gonna stare at the writing with the blankest of expressions, because two out of three of those words turn what little rules of English she remembers on their sides, and they've also broken her brain.]

[after a moment of wracking her brain, she leans over and writes "GOOD GUY" underneath Terezi's writing. next to the guilty troll, she writes "BAD GUY >:(" emote and all. does she have the gist of it?]

[oh heck yes, she's two out of two so far! and she's feeling bold enough to try a more complicated question via chalk drawings.]

[Madoka draws her closest approximation of Earth, or at least some sort of planet, surrounded by a bunch of question marks. Jade had mentioned to her earlier that Terezi is an alien, if it weren't obvious enough already. so Madoka would like to know more about her planet!]

[She shakes her head, and, okay--on a new blank corner of the floor, she draws a planet in white, with pink and green moons included.

After some consideration, she adds a little spaceship zooming away from the planet.]
