Note: Feel free to create your own logs for individual island explorations. A prompt is for house exploring, and you can list off multiple A prompts like A1, A2, etc. for more than one prompt within the house. B prompts (B1, B2, etc) are for exploring the island and may be open to all OR select friends who your character is exploring with.

[It's tough to live on an island that doesn't have many resources outside of the limited food sources and running streams. While Brie is aware of some other minor sources of food, like fish and frogs, one person exploring an island on their own means there are a lot of secret spots left to uncover. Despite adventuring for three years, her time on the hub itself has been much shorter, only staying for days or weeks at a time. Now that there are more people on this journey, covering ground is a lot easier.

Recently she's discovered another large estate -- much larger than her current shared mansion, which might also mean it has some supplies inside. On the morning of Day #, she's called together those who are hankering for more supplies in order to bring as much back as possible. Congrats, you get first dibs.

A. Upon approaching the house, the first thing that's noticeable is its size. It's all one story, but very flat and spacious. There are gardens in both the front and the rear, and upon entering (Brie might have enlisted you to help break the door down, oops) the inside is also quite vast. There are tons of rooms, multiple bedrooms and bathrooms, two kitchens and other rooms that aren't even explorable because they need keys to be entered. Unless you can find these keys, that is?

B. Alternatively, or maybe even aside from exploring the house, Brie's also suggested that you do some exploring on your own. Again, she's one woman with limited time to scout the island herself. What can you find? What resources are there to be harvested? Will you share in this bounty, or keep it to yourself?]

Well, if we want to drink any of the alcohol people keep findin' in style...

I've noticed that alcohol has been a reoccurring theme. [If he was older, Waver might agree the situation called for heavy drinking. For now, he mostly just notes it as something that has come up a few times.]

Any idea of what's on the front of the box?

Some kinda cartoon show...? But not one I'm familiar with. So. Must be an alien one, or one from another Earth?

Either or. [Waver leans over, trying to make sense of the graphic on the box.]

At least you've got something to hold food in.

Yes. It will definitely be of great use to me. [ A PERSON WHO FREQUENTLY FORGETS TO EAT REGULARLY...god... ] I kinda like it, though. I never had a lunchbox.

Well, you get to make up for lost time.

[Waver closes the cabinet he's standing in front of, and lets out a tired sigh.]

Did you clear all of the cabinets before finding that?

Unfortunately yes. So far I've found a shitload of nothin'.

Damnit.

[He backs away slowly, brushing against the kitchen island directly behind the two of them. Waver gives the kitchen a final glance around, then throws his hands up.]

Why're we even bothering if we keep yielding absolutely nothing in the searches?

Mostly because we all know the second we stop lookin' the laws of cliches will demand that suddenly all the answers are in the next cupboard over, probably?

[Waver huffs, and crouches down to examine one of the cabinets in the island.]

Well, the law of cliche fails us here. Empty.

Maybe one of us should dramatically pretend to give up?

How good of an actor are you?

[Waver is...not. At all. Don't give him this awesome responsibility.]]

Uh. [ WELL. PRETTY GOOD? but not in the dramatic hammy sense because he's not great at displaying huge emotions. still. dave sighs, and kicks the ground. ]

You know, we ain't findin' jack shit here. I think I may call it a day?

[That ain't bad. Waver waits a few moments, then proceeds to walk out of the kitchen for good measure. That'll make cupboards yield their secrets, right?]

We should! And should go.

Yep. Back to camp for us.

[ dave will just shuffle out after waver. OF COURSE, ONE OF THEM WILL HAVE TO GO RE-CHECK THE CUPBOARDS NOW why are you going along with this idiocy, waver? ]

[Waver lingers outside of the kitchen for a few minutes, pointedly looking away He whispers.]

How long should we wait, do you think?

I think a few minutes is good. Who wants to idle back like they forgot somethin'?

[ also whispered... ]

[Waver simply nods, then shuffles back into the kitchen.]

I think you left your lunchbox over on the counter, you know.

[Will that work?]

Shit, you're right. Better get it, then...

[ HE WILL JUST PICK IT UP. ]

I think you may've left somethin' in there, too. [ POINTS TO A CABINET THEY DID NOT CHECK ]

Maybe, but probably not.

[Waver goes and checks and--

--plates! And silverware. That's...kind of useful?]

Well then.

So, I'd give it a "kind of worked" rating?

Ehh.

[Waver makes the so-so gesture.]

We're gonna have to wash dishes now.

Alternately, we could trick someone else into washin' 'em?

[Waver pauses, tapping his finger on the side of his cheek before nodding in agreement.]

We could do that, no problem.

We just have to find the most gullible target...
