Hello everyone out there. As you may know, there is a garden area on the seventh floor of the apartment building we're all living in. I'm inviting anyone who hears this to come join me for tea. Think of it like a bonding activity? Getting to know someone better that you might have only run into a couple of times?

Or you could just come and help relieve me of all of the tea cakes and cookies I made this morning, it's up to you! Thank you for your time!

[Really, this is just Haru's excuse to celebrate to herself, just a little! It's Haru's birthday today and she feels much better doing something nice for the rest of the coven than just doing something nice for herself! Not that anyone outside her really knows that. Or so she thinks? When characters arrive to the garden they will see several smaller tables set up like this with several warm pots of tea around and plenty of cups! She meant for this to be something where the coven could help themselves.]

[Haru IS truly that kind, but, Jumin happens to be right that there is underlying reason besides just getting the coven together. But the reason might be a little embarrassing for her.]

A lady can't tell all of her secrets, Jumin-san.

[ DAMMIT HARU YOU CAN'T MAKE HIM COME TO A PARTY EMPTY-HANDED ]

You're not celebrating with a particular somebody, so it's not an anniversary. You can't be graduating since school's only begun...

There are only few logical explanations. Though really I thought it would be much nicer to have everyone get together and de-stress.

[Haru just thinks doing things for others is a cool thing to do. But... if Jumin REALLY must know.]

I counted the days properly since Hibiki-kun's birthday and today just happens to be mine.

Though the get together really doesn't relate much to this. The garden just had the right set up and space for a tea party.

[ Jumin's internally freaking out, actually. What do you mean he missed Hibiki's birthday? What do you mean he was about to miss Haru's too? No. No. This must be rectified immediately. ]

I'll be there in an hour. You'll still be there, won't you?

[Oh no, she has to wonder what kind of thing she's unleashed here.]

I have enough supplies to last well into early evening. I'll be here.

[ He's already calculating the costs. ]

Perfect. I'll see you then. Ciao.

[ EXACTLY ONE HOUR LATER, he arrives at the garden with a box wrapped in gold. He greets her with one of his rare smiles; after all, birthdays only happen once a year. ]

Happy birthday, Haru.

[That sure is a box, still, she has to wonder what she's unleashed. The soft smile on his face is something she's sure she's never witnessed in person before. It causes her to give him a smile back.]

Thank you, Jumin-san. Please sit down and have some tea with me?

Of course.

[ But his courtesies never take too long, and the smile disappears just as quickly. He settles into the chair opposite Haru and places the box before him. ]

Birthdays are rather difficult to track with the calendars available to us. Seeing as your birthday is close to Christmas, I decided to make my present twice as valuable. [ no why ]

[Oh my god. Should she be afraid?]

Really, Jumin-san. Whatever it may be, I will be sure to enjoy it and treasure it.

I recommend that you install all the apps you need before we return to the hub. But if you dislike the color, I can have it replaced right away.

That's quite young. [ Compared to everyone else he knows. This wouldn't be so much of a problem to him if he actually knew what other young people talked about... ] What are you plans? Will you be going to university?

[ No pressure. Just wondering, but also at a loss for topics. He figures she should have SOME idea, right? ]

I want to go to university and then I want to open my own Cafe. Something nice and cozy.

[So basically she wants to manage a business, and wants to do it on her own terms.]

[ A smile tugs at the corner of her lip. He's impressed. Hopefully, Yoosung would be as driven and responsible as her, too... ]

I like your ambition. If you need any advice or assistance, please don't hesitate to contact me. That goes for other matters as well. Our current situation is more favorable to me than the last.

[ He takes a sip of tea. IT'S GOOD... ]

I think I understand the inner workings of this world more than I did the last. The setting is familiar, the concept of money is familiar.
