When: Day 151, mid-afternoon. (I know it's Dec 5th other places, so I forward dated this juuuust a little.)
Open/Closed: Open. Because Haru is inviting everyone to a tea party.

Hello everyone out there. As you may know, there is a garden area on the seventh floor of the apartment building we're all living in. I'm inviting anyone who hears this to come join me for tea. Think of it like a bonding activity? Getting to know someone better that you might have only run into a couple of times?

Or you could just come and help relieve me of all of the tea cakes and cookies I made this morning, it's up to you! Thank you for your time!

[Really, this is just Haru's excuse to celebrate to herself, just a little! It's Haru's birthday today and she feels much better doing something nice for the rest of the coven than just doing something nice for herself! Not that anyone outside her really knows that. Or so she thinks? When characters arrive to the garden they will see several smaller tables set up like this with several warm pots of tea around and plenty of cups! She meant for this to be something where the coven could help themselves.]

[Haru's invitation was more than enough to summon both Nike and Airis to the garden area on the top floors; two floors above in their case. Airis will eagerly run up to Haru after noticing her from the distance. A handful of "Auntie Haru" will be yelled as she reaches to hug her.]

Airis, be careful! Don't squeeze her too much.

[All said with a bright smile on her lips, allowing her lizard child to enthusiastically greet their relative. Raising her hand, offering a wave.]

So? Are we considering this our promised tea party or are we saving it to another world?

[Haru will definitely have her own lizard child with her as well, Koi-chan being a good girl and making sure all of the tea is steeping correctly. Haru will kneel down and give Airis a tight hug before greeting Nike.]

We're saving our tea party for another time. This one is just, well... I wanted to do something nice for everyone?

[It's a quaint little celebration. There is so many sweets and teas to pair with the sweets!!]

[Jay strolls up to the garden, hands in pockets, and takes in the little tables with their cakes and tea. He smiles at Haru.]

This must have taken a lot of work. Thank you.

[When Yusuke shows up, he has a piece of paper that he promptly hands to Haru.]

You didn't tell anyone it was your birthday until the day of, back home, but this time I had time to make you something, Haru.

[It's just a birthday card with Milady wishing Haru a happy birthday, but.]

Yusuke-kun...

[She will holds this card incredibly dear to her. It will travel worlds with them probably. Gifts like this from friends are always the most special.]

I didn't really think about it at home, and I didn't really think much about it here either. Thank you, though, this means a lot.

I thought everyone could use something nice. To lessen the stress of our situation.

[She smiles back.]

[He pours himself a cup of tea.]

It is rather unsettling being constantly brought to new places, isn't it? How are you settling into Shehui?

[ Thanks to His Methods, Hibiki is fully prepared for The Big Day. Fully aware of the fact that this invitation isn't a mere coincidence, he smiles after receiving the message. Throwing a party for everyone is definitely something that Haru would do...and he's quite curious how much work she put into preparing everything.

When he arrives sometime later, Hibiki will look for Haru, limiting himself to greeting the other guests. First things first, it's Haru's day, after all. ]

Hello, Haru-san. [ Offering a smile, he steps in closer. ] Does anybody else know what are we celebrating today?

[ No need to be so extra, god. ]

I couldn't let your birthday go by without some sort of gift.

[He smiles a little.]

Did I get Milady right? I rarely see her from the front, so my memory of that angle isn't the best.

[Airis will happily enjoy the tight embrace after learning the value of affection. It won't be long until she notices Koi and deciding to head on over in her direction to watch the other girl's hard work. Maybe she can help?

Nike, on the other hand, was enjoying the scene a little too much, realizing the importance of having a quaint garden for tea. It was hard not to smile at Haru's admission.]

You're really sweet! I'm sure everyone else will appreciate this! [Or else, there will be punches and lectures to be met.] No need to be shy about it, okay? Look at this as good experience for your future as a cafe owner and hostess!

Shehui reminds me of the city at home. So I'm used to city life pretty easily. As to the purpose of us being here?

[She falls a little silent.]

Well, we just have to wonder, don't we? This world is rather strict about magic.

[It looks like Koi will be teaching Airis how to steep tea! It will be a fun and cute lesson between lizard babies.]

I hope so. I know the stress of moving worlds is high. So if we have a little time to cool down before something happens... well, I would prefer to take that chance.

[Well, that is pretty extra, Hibiki. But she just laughs.]

It looks like you used your methods after all, correct? But no. I didn't really say why. This really isn't completely for me in the first place. I figured that everyone could use a break from the stress of the new world.

[But, coincidentally it IS also her birthday. She's another year older, 18 to be in fact!]

You captured her beauty quite well, I'm going to treasure this for as long as I am able to keep it.

[And then she gives Yusuke a Look.]

Yusuke-kun? Have you eaten today? There is plenty of food here that pairs well with tea.

[Yusuke somehow shrinks when he's faced with that look.]

I...was busy all day today. I haven't had time for more than a granola bar this morning.

Let me get you something then?

[Looks like she was right to call a tea party! Especially one that attracts friends.]

What do you have?

[ Coincidence??? I think not. Smiling smugly, Hibiki looks away, checking whether anyone is paying attention to them. ]

You should've seen it coming, Haru-san.

[ She really thought of everything. He couldn't call himself a considerate person, but he certainly can appreciate someone else's effort. ]

I'll bring something to your room later, if that's alright with you.

[ Not using the word gift on purpose as Hibiki can't really imagine Haru wanting him to spill the beans right here and right now. ]

It's a good idea! We still know absolutely nothing over our purpose in this world. No one from Qri's group has contacted us yet. Let's enjoy our "down time".

[And having tea and treats in a beautiful garden, even a fake one, was a good way to go around it. She'll smile.]

Shall we? Until you get too busy in hosting?

[Nike had every intention of hogging Haru's attention until someone new arrives.]

Which raises the question of where we're going to find the kind of magical energy Qri wants us to collect. Yes.

[He frowns thoughtfully.]

I can only assume they're hiding something, with their anti-magic policies. Whether we should pry into what that is is another matter.

Of course. Who would have thought our birthdays weren't really that far apart.

[She giggles just a little.]

I won't be opposed if you wanted to do that.

I assumed you of all people would want to pry into it. But not at the cost of being banned from the city. Who know what would happen if any of us were to get banned. Where would those people go?

[Haru has a rebellious spirit. But not rebellious enough to want to be kicked out of somewhere with no clue as to what might happen.]

Tea cakes and some cookies. But if you wanted something different we could walk to somewhere close?

[She's gotta watch out for Yusuke, okay?]

Naturally I want to. That is, however, separate from the matter of whether it's a wise thing to do.

[But she's not wrong: he smiles.]

I'll be careful in my investigation of the city. It certainly is ominous that they won't tell us what happens to banned people.

Of course, let's sit.

[And when they do, Haru leans forward a little.]
