With the recent installation of 9S and co.'s scanning equipment and the also recent, significantly wetter rainstorms there's quite a lot to check out on the island right now. Plus, the monitor robot still needs a name. You're not going to leave them nameless forever, are you?

Too bad Genette's put out word that everyone's about to be moving location soon. That means these are the last days the coven has for a little while to get everything in order, whether it's to take things to the next destination or to leave them behind. Get your bags packed and your huts cleaned, everyone!]

Sort of...since it came from their bones, doesn't that mean they were all killed in order to get it? I know that no one in the coven killed them, but we won't be asked to do anything like that in order to collect magic, will we?

Honestly, I can't guarantee that. She hasn't asked Brie or Genette to do anything like that, as far as I know--although I did hear about Brie stealing magical currency from a bank. Still, there's no telling what she might ask of us in the future.

Although I doubt most people in the coven would go along with that.

I'm not really sure why no one stays in the mansion, but I don't think it's that big of a deal. Brie has cameras set up all inside so she can watch people when they're in there, and the idea of that might be pretty uncomfortable if you just want a private place to yourself. I'm sure if someone wanted to stay in the mansion they could.

It's not just getting angry. I mean -- I suppose it wouldn't be the same in a dream, I was still kind of aware of you somewhere -- but where I'm from, a dragon doesn't have the ability to really think or reason anymore, the way you or I do...

It's...spiritual impurity, negative emotions, things like that. I guess you could say it's something that acts like a poison in our world. If a seraph runs into so much they can't deal with it anymore, they become a drake, and then a dragon.

I got pretty alarmed by my power when Qri brought us here, because of that. It's taken some getting used to.

They don't need to be near to communicate anyway. Given that the first person she encountered on the island was a shapeshifter, it doesn't take her long to draw her own conclusions what's going on here. ...not quite. My pact with Sorey protects me from that, as long as he doesn't fall to it himself. We work together to keep each other safe, as best as we can.
