[It's about noon on the island, based on the position of the sun. The newbies have had a few days to settle in, but that doesn't mean they've fully mastered their newfound abilities.

As much stock as Genette puts into telepathy, Brie is more concerned about their other newfound gifts. She's aggressively tried to wrangle as many newbies as possible onto the sandy shores of the beachfront area for some magic practice.

She's got a list of everyone's magic -- only a few vague notes, limitations are for you to discover -- and she's handing out missions for magic training. If you want to participate? Feel free. If you don't? Suit yourself.

But understanding your magic isn't just an activity that benefits the group. Learning your magic's abilities may be what stands between you and survival, which is something she makes perfectly clear.]

still, he hates a bite and. it's a ridiculous mix of flavors. none of them make sense. the melon is sweet, refreshing. the patty and the cheese mix around in something hearty. the onion provides a crunch and the chocolate sauce just puts it all together in a swirling abyss of lukewarm despair

Okay no, let's be honest, Chiaki likes her happiness a lot more. He thinks he can take a break and refrain from a third bite right now, putting the burger back down as he rubs the back of his neck and tries not to wobble.]

Oh, I definitely do! It's one of my favorite pastimes, so it's nice that someone can taste the heart I put into it!

orihime is weak to compliments, though, and she looks like she's about to start crying?? she's so happy someone is giving her cooking such high praise! most people other than isshin and matsumoto don't recognize that part of her, so she's certainly flattered and thankful for chiaki's words. ]

Chiaki has no sense of personal space when he worries about people though?! So he reaches out automatically just to carefully curl his index finger and run the back of it along the top of her cheek. No crying, Orihime!
