I've scoured the library best I can and unfortunately I've been unable to find any books that contain maps... nor can I make sense of whatever pictogram language they seem to employ here.

At the very least, all of us can communicate verbally... though I do wonder. You must use some other form of writing if nothing here seems familiar, am I correct?
