To speak broadly, history is how they connect to humanity, to their families and to themselves. They respect and care for the cultures and artifacts. They realise understanding comes from sharing, from knowledge, and so they encourage others to learn as well. Money and glamour doesn't feature into it. Of course the thrill of a good adventure is an excellent side dish! But the true heart of the course is to deepen the understanding we have of each other.
