I've met some of them in passing, but Madoka and Haru in particular...

[ he pauses, hanging his head before continuing. ]

Madoka has helped everyone out more times than I can count. Back on Aimintas, especially, she was my assistant nurse of sorts during those battles. And Haru is a close friend, too, one of the first people I was able to confide in. Those two are important to me. And everyone else, too, even those I've never personally spoken to.

So I'm prepared to do anything and everything I can. I've never considered myself much of a leader, but I can manage. Whatever it takes.

[ he listens intently, wordless all the while — until there's a shake of the head, an annoyingly confident smile tugging at his lips as he meets jude's gaze. ]

Speak to them. Make contact as often as you're able. Hearing your voice will motivate them more than you realize. Someone like you will allow them to remember that they aren't alone, and hope is scarce in moments such as these.

They will not keep them. I know this — regardless of what it may take, we've come together, ablaze with a passion for our own. I've seen what the people of this coven are capable of — you have as well. This will inevitably end.

[ a thoughtful pause. ]

You have a good head on your shoulders. I'm certain that this'll bring your friends comfort in spite of the stakes. They still have you.

[ he listens intently to every word, and jude is a bit flustered to receive what feels like such high praise from percival, a person he's come to admire in a sense thanks to what's been fairly limited interaction. he always seems to know what he's doing; he always seems to have answers, and if he doesn't, he always seems to be chasing after them.

and jude is drawn to those kinds of people. percival's no exception to that.

he's not quite sure what to say, so he simply nods, unconsciously clenching and unclenching his fist. ]
