[Whether or not she was actually spotted during her Super Secret Spy Work, Moon wants the gift-giving to come as sort of a surprise! Sure, everyone's been giving out gifts, but that doesn't mean she can't try to be surprising. So, she spends time around the apartments, waiting until she spots Kurapika coming or going, and pops out from behind a snowbank, wrapped present in hand.]

[She's not sure what the actual greeting is for Sunsu, but that'll work.]

[Another gift, another shot at being surprising about it. She still hangs around the apartment complex, since it's definitely the best place to find anyone in such a huge city. This time, though, she's got Mimi with her. Mimi's made herself invisible, which means she can stand right next to the doors without worry. As soon as 9S comes by, Mimi appears, squeaking delightedly something that sounds very much like MimiBOO! She's got a present tucked between her wooden tail and cloak body, too. Moon pops out from around a corner, more reasonably.]

[There's some good packing snow out here today! Moon isn't going to miss the opportunity--she's making a snowmikyu. A snow Pikachu is more traditional, probably, but Moon is sure Mimi, posing very enthusiastically for this snow creation, would be offended. Cyan, Moon's adopted palai, is trying her hardest to make a snow Salazzle, but that's kind of a way more complicated process. As soon as Moon spots someone walking by not looking too busy, though, she tries to wave them over.]

Hey! Come build snowmen with us!

[Moon got up here with the help of Nebby, who's still perched on the roof beside Moon, possibly being of note to those below and up on the rooftops for whatever reasons they may have. Moon is staring up at the frosted over dome of Shehui, though her eyes look miles farther away, with a Clefairy doll in her arms.]

Still no luck on opening a wormhole, huh? [Moon seems to be speaking to Nebby, because it makes a noise that Moon seems to take as a no.] I guess we'll be sticking around here longer, then. Don't worry, it won't be forever. [If she's trying to console Nebby or herself, it's not exactly clear. She squeezes the doll.] I wonder how mom and Lillie and Hau and Gladion and everyone's doing?

A wormhole?

[sorry, she didn't mean to eavesdrop. Madoka is pretty much unfazed by the scene before her or Nebby, particularly considering the fact that she works with some sort of weird cake monster back home, so she had no reservations in approaching. also, she likes Moon.]

[Moon startles just a little, turning sharply toward Madoka--it's clear she's not upset or anything, just surprised. Nebby cranes its neck down slightly and makes a noise of greeting.]

Oh--Nebby [Moon gestures to the Pokemon] can normally make these things called ultra wormholes that can go between different worlds. Ever since Qri brought us to the island, though, it hasn't been able to.

Really? That's amazing! Can it go to any world it wants, or is it a bit more limited?

[He had a feeling someone was watching him, waiting for him. Even without access to his nen, he could tell something like that. He's halfway into a defensive pose when Moon jumps out, and for a moment he tenses before surprise causes him to drop his shoulders a bit.]

...You shouldn't sneak up on strangers like that.

[Thank goodness he didn't have his chains, or she'd be face to face with a blade right now. Ah, but... a present? His expression softens shortly after, and he takes a step closer.]

Did you receive my name, then? I'm surprised you went through so much trouble. Thank you.

But holiday surprises are fun! [Yeah, Moon probably shouldn't be sneaking up on people given all the different places they're from, but it would always go fine in her world!] I got your name, so I tried hard to find something you'd like! I hope I got it right.

[The box isn't too big, but inside is a carrying case that holds several sets of colored contacts--blue, brown, green, and hazel. A wide variety of Normal Human Eye Colors!]

[At first, Kurapika looks serious as he opens the gift, but then genuine surprise covers his face. Contacts? He's been trying to get them, and now that's one thing out of the way.]

Thank you, I... [That's so nice, he doesn't know how to respond? He's also confused as to how she knows he'd be interested in that. Unless she saw him shopping for them...] How did you...?

[9S could detect heat signatures, when he was paying mind to his surroundings. But he's been focused on some designs for various pieces of equipment, a holographic screen hovering in front of his face. He halts when something moves in the periphery of his vision, waving the screen away just in time for a greeting from a little creature.

He bends, planting his hands on his knees to better regard something he hasn't seen before. It looks like one of those creatures Moon has though, doesn't it?

Before he can do much more than open his mouth to say something, Moon makes her appearance, which confirms the theory]

Oh, uh [He's still getting used to this greeting, despite hearing it in increasing frequency lately] Happy holidays?

[Isn't it just one holiday, around here?]

[Moon doesn't recognize the questioning toward "holidays" as anything more than surprise at Mimi and her sudden appearance, so she carries on.] I got your name on the gift exchange list!

[Mimi waves the package excitedly at 9S. Inside the neatly wrapped package is a DIY phone kit.]

[9S gingerly accepts the package with both hands, like it's some terribly breakable, precious thing he's been entrusted with]

It's...really for me?

[He hasn't even opened it yet, simply mystified]
