Splitting up the infiltration team would be a good idea. Two smaller groups can hit targets with less chance of being noticed. [Shiro has been silently listening to the conversation from his post. I don't think we should rule out she might be outside...but the fact they can interfere with our telepathy might be evidence enough to prove she's around.
