[ She doesn't reply to the initial message, but she shows up at the proposed area nevertheless. It doesn't sit right by her to simply stand around and do nothing while there's something like this going on.

A seemingly young, slender teenager in a black longcoat makes her way to the lobby, unarmed and apparently unequipped. ]

[ Blunt and to the point. Though she's usually professional and courteous, perhaps she's getting down to business a little too quickly. Hasty. ]

[ Crowds are bad, but it'll be hard navigating her back to where they're staying without passing through more. ]

[ She takes a deep breath - being the calm, rational one is hard when she wants to just yell and fight the whole city, and she almost hopes Dia's too shaken to see how shaken she is as well. ]

Give it a little bit then try. ...there'll be others there taking care of her. Madoka's really sweet and Geir is a big tough dragon.

[Dia only cried when they took Ruby. She's too shaken and too numb to keep crying now. So she's going to let Amanda lead them and she's going to keep her head down as much as she can in the process.]

I'll try...I just hope there is someone staying with her that will help keep her calm. She's never been in a situation like this. Our home doesn't allow for situations like this.

[ That... is not the sort of responsibility people trust her with, and it gives her pause. Saying that she'll take care of Ruby is one thing, but hearing Dia ask her to... it feels nice to be trusted. And nerve-wracking, honestly. ]

[ there's really only one option, here, and that's to 100% take advantage of every person willing to storm this place so he doesn't go on a suicide mission and piss off riza more than she likely arleady is. ]

[ it's a fairly remarkable punch to the gut feeling, that happens, when roy sees riza's name on the list. the feeling of some powerful overlord dragging you into their specific court isn't a new feeling, but it's the same sinking, skin-crawling, anxious pit in his stomach as it was when the investigations surrounding maes were going on, and when the fuhrer tore his team apart to send a message, and when the homunculi separated them again.

riza hawkeye and roy mustang aren't meant to be separated. they have an agreement.

so when he sees her name on the list, he immediately goes to find her. and can't. he practically tears apart where she was staying, systematically asks questions of every passerby who may have seen her, only to have nothing. nothing. and then the messages start pouring in, and roy posits an open message: ]

Any information possible on the whereabouts of those taken would be appreciated, otherwise I'm going to follow the trail of dead bodies that surely accompanied whoever was stupid enough to take Riza Hawkeye.

[ she's settled into her cell by this point, as settled as she can be. she's not happy, and she's feeling restless, and she's being held captive, but the second she hears roy's voice in her head, there's a kind of relaxation that washes over her. ]

Sir [ a list of things rolls through her head. apologies, information, explanations...but what she does send isn't short on her frustration. ]

Don't do anything stupid.

[ relief doesn't even begin to cover it. as much as he loathes the idea of people being inside his head, hearing that she's safe is worth the discomfort. ]

The "gift" that was granted to me involves talking my way out of problems. I can control emotion, to a certain extent. More importantly, I'm a ranked military officer with training in combat and firearms, and plenty of field experience.
