I once knew two people who did something incredibly stupid in order to achieve something great. They were children at the time, and children tend to look for the easy solution rather than soldier through the hard way, or accept the reality of something difficult. They paid a heavy price for their actions. I wouldn't call it a curse, but had anyone found out about why they were the way they were, they certainly would have been ostracized, at best, and jailed for life, at worse.
I should have put them in jail, when I found them. I was legally obligated to do it. I decided not to -- for one, because they were two stupid kids, and two, because throwing stones in glass houses tends to result in looking like a fool. I don't like looking like a fool. They both have grown into not only capable young men, but they helped save our world when the adults of Amestris were set on ruining it. And I think, a lot, about whether that would be the case had I not given them the opportunity to prove they were more than their idiotic mistake.
That being said, your secret is safe with me, so long as you not do something stupid in an effort to make up for whatever has been placed on your shoulders, or whatever you've done to earn it. Don't make me regret that choice. Be smart, conserve your strength, don't immediately run to your trump card, and cooperate with the people in your cell. You're going to be fine, regardless of what happens in the next day or so. And I won't say a word.
( just reinforcing that this is private for the rest of the game LMAO )
