dave's realizing they're being grilled by the monitors, so while he would agree to the questioning, all his answers are going to be as unhelpful as possible. asking him where he was on sunsu is going to lead to him talking about the food he ate that day and does this guy want street stall recs because boy does he have them, he's going to ask what the monitor means by magic and force them to get specific before shrugging his shoulders at actually answering, and as for the signet, he's going to say he won it in a contest and then claim he forgot which contest. as for the survey, he'll say he gets a lot of junk mail and thought it was the same thing.
