Procrastination it wasn't. It was working in the bookshop long enough to have enough money to buy presents. Waver had found that while the pay was more lucrative for other jobs in the city, he was happiest just putting away books and then doing inventory. It was harder to save up, but worth it.

It was why he walked through the markets examining everything's price carefully. It was why he glared at those hawking goods when they became aggressive and made a point to ignore them, up until they were impossible to ignore.
