[ As Enkidu had been intended to help correct Gilgamesh's deficiencies, having assumed the spirit of Gilgamesh would necessarily be that of the man who died after losing Enkidu and being unable to lay hold of immortality, Gaelio continues to think less well of this iteration, whose poor personality kept.

Then again, is it so surprising? A man who would neglect his rule to focus entirely on finding a means to evade death -- when by dying, he might have again met Enkidu --

but Gaelio has not met any Gilgamesh, knows nothing more than what he's read and presently been told. It also does not matter, the nature of that demigod, outside of this nostalgia he'd rather tamp down, regardless. So leaving it at her shrug is fine by him. ]


I'm more interested in how well he knows this place...
