[ A system wherein "Masters" contracted with the "Heroic Spirits" of legends such as Robin Hood. He understands little of that, and it isn't terribly relevant, so his incentive to ask keeps low. Easy to assume a dire need, a world in conflict.

However--

Heroic Spirits such as Robin Hood, such as Gilgamesh. His eyes widen, slivers of white. ]


Of Uruk?

[ What else? The Epic of Gilgamesh. A strange shape in the line of his mouth, something abandoned. The feeling had begun with Robin Hood, but accelerates dramatically with Gilgamesh -- he would thrill for this. That much must keep true, with how he kept loyal only to Agnika Kaieru, only to Bael.

The Story of him who knew the most of all men know, he thinks, the sound of the thought in another's voice, from another time, the chord of memory sending reverberations deep. But the muscles that would shape a nostalgic, even fond smile were long cut, paralyzed, unresponsive. Instead, his fingers twitch at his side. ]


I know someone who might like to hear that.

Was he impressive, Gilgamesh? Or are you more impressive for commanding him?
