[WORLD ONE | THE UVI'S DEMISE]
[ The evening on Day 64 is about as quiet as it can possibly be in Aimintas. Nothing is going wrong, and there's no attack to be expected. After all, with two in short succession and the Uvi's plan made obvious (though only after the fact), it seems impossible that they'd want to come back to Aimintas so soon...right?
While the Uvi aren't planning on an attack even soon, they'll soon be formulating a Palai-Uvi reunion of sorts. Though the sound is water-logged and muffled, there's suddenly a massive boom that can be heard throughout the city. Nothing is noticeably different at first, but those looking up may be able to see where the cacophony came from if they're observant. There's suddenly a very turbulent swirl in the ocean and things begin falling from the sky yet again.
There are certainly dead fish in this mess of debris, but the more bizarre form of rain may be charred remnants of scales and bone. The top layer of the ocean has taken on a dark hue from a mixture of death, ash from the remains of the scaly creatures and the disintegrated seaweed. It's unclear what happened, but whatever it was -- it was big.
A hint may be from the final item of debris raining down on Aimintas. Spiny, hard structures that look like sea urchins the size of mandarin oranges fall from the sky by the hundreds. They glow with the same bright light as the Elto energy and that mysterious island barrier. Pick one up and you'll feel the white hot heat of pulsating light energy move through your body. It's exhilarating, but it also stings. If you've ever experienced the shock of Elto energy, imagine that feeling but intensified times 20.
What happened to the Uvi? Are they really all dead? And what do these rocks have to do with their sudden misfortune...? ]
